Full-time, will be various hours Every other weekend and every other holiday required Must pass drug test, background check and physical Employee benefits, after 90 days of employment, such as health, dental and prescription insurance, plus supplemental insurances available such as cancer, vison, accident 401K after employed for a year, facility matches up to 3% Life insurance Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility. Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that the facility activities and resident progress are evaluated, by noting reporting, and charting resident behavior. Transport residents to and from activities. Follow the care plan in providing daily activities for the resident. Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary. Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting such to the Activity Director as required. Daily resident and response charting. 9Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director. Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities so that all residents are involved in activities by engaging in and organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties, etc. Conduct individual and/or group, remotivation and reality orientation sessions to promote the worth, self-esteem and reality level of the resident. Oversee the residents engaged in scheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well being of residents by applying experience in activities and knowledge of diagnosis and conditions of residents.
